Dave Moore is the creative director at Williams-Helde Marketing Communications in Seattle. He has nearly 20 years experience in writing, design and creative direction. A recognized face among the Seattle ad scene, he’s worked for agencies and clients both large and small, including Wong-Doody, Publicis in the West, Copacino, Edelman, Alaska Airlines, Starbucks, REI and a ton of other companies that most people have never heard of. His approach weaves form, function and message into creative ideas that entertain, get noticed, and get results. His work has been featured by One Show, Addies, Communication Arts and more.

The Desne Baldoz Memorial Scholarship Benefit Auction and Art Bash, sponsored by Abbott’s Printing, promises to be a fun-filled frenzy of crazed bidders and Holiday revelers. Enjoy the hors d’oeuvres and a no host bar with a special appearance by Santa!

This auction allows us to continue our tradition of awarding scholarship(s) in the spring to deserving students in our area. Roy started his career at the Leo Burnett Company in 1967. Two years later he decided to sell hamburgers instead, and began his adventure at McDonald’s. Starting as an assistant advertising manager, he became manager, national advertising manager, director of advertising and promotion, assistant vice president of advertising and promotion, and vice president of advertising. He retired after 29 years from McDonald’s in 2001 as Chief Creative Officer. Along the way, he was responsible for U.S., as well as all advertising worldwide. While under his care, McDonald’s earned every creative award possible, including Cannes, Clios, and the Four A’s best five year campaign. Roy lives happily in Payson, Arizona, with his wife, dogs, and horses.
